2010 Ohio SHRM Legislative Day -

On April 20, 2010, HR Professionals from across the State will have the opportunity to learn about Ohio’s HR-related legislation by attending the Ohio SHRM Legislative Conference in Columbus. The event will again be held at the Riffe Center:

Planned topics for the day include a State update, presentations on worker’s compensation and unemployment law as well as OSHA, comp time and sexual orientation legislation. There will also be a special Federal update. We've just added another session - "Labor Relations and the NLRB Moving Forward."

Scheduled speakers include:

• Anthony Seegers, Esq. - Director of Labor and Human Resources Policy, Ohio Chamber of Commerce

Attendees will also have the option of participating in scheduled meetings with their State Legislators.
