Committees

Several committees are designed to meet certain immediate and long-range needs and to further the interests of members.  These committees include Programming, Membership, Education, Newsletter, Diversity, and Student Relations.  Other committees are appointed by the President as needed.  New members are invited to consider serving on one of our committees.

The Education Committee
The Butler/Warren County SHRM education Committee will work in several areas to involve the chapter and its individual members in school-to-work and career development of students in Butler/Warren County. The Committee has utilized the SHRM Foundation’s publication BECOMING WORKFORCE READY : Educating Today’s Students for Tomorrow’s Workplace as a reference for the chapter’s program.  For more information, click here.

Membership Committee
If you are interested in serving on the membership committee please contact Marc Fleischauer at 937-449-6720 or mfleischauer@porterwright.com. Volunteers are needed to contact prospective members and to act as the chapter "welcome wagon" for new members.

Programs Committee
If you are interested in serving on the programs committee, please contact Angela Sherrick at 513-605-7402 or asherrick@generalrevenue.com . Volunteers are needed to help plan meetings, secure sponsors and to secure presenters.

Diversity Committee
If you are interested in serving on the diversity committee please contact Katie Frey at 513- 981-6201  kafrey@health-partners.org .
Volunteers are needed to promote the chapter diversity initiatives.
