Biography -David Krasnow

David Krasnow received his BA from Indiana University in 1991 and began his career in the pension industry shortly thereafter with Great West Retirement Services (GWRS) in Chicago, Illinois.  After working for GWRS for seven years, David became a Vice President of Institutional Sales with Key Bank in Cleveland, Ohio. 

After two years with Key Bank, David had a strong desire to become an independent retirement plan advisor because of the need that he saw for more comprehensive, hands-on service, than that which was being provided by the large institutions.  In 1999, David formed Pension Advisors, a pension advisory firm in Beachwood, Ohio.  Today, Pension Advisors has grown to a seven-person firm managing over ninety corporate retirement plans with assets totaling over $500 million.

After evaluating countless corporate retirement plans, and keeping his finger on the pulse of this ever-changing industry, he has become an expert in his field and has educated many HR professionals on the “ins and outs” of their retirement plans.  He has an entertaining approach to this often complex topic, and is also a regular speaker at retirement industry conferences around the country.
