Biography - Tom Mobley

With over 20 years of experience, Thomas Mobley, SPHR is a respected expert in the HR field.  As part of the faculty team at Miami University he has demonstrated his ability to transfer knowledge and provide others with the tools they need to succeed.  Tom has been part of Miami University's Human Resource Team since 2004 and is currently the Management Talent Coordinator for Miami University's Middletown Campus.

In addition to being part of the faculty and HR team at Miami University Middletown, Tom is the immediate past Director of the Society for Human Resource Management Ohio State Council.  He has recently been elected to serve on SHRM's Board of Director's Membership Advisory Council.

Tom's broad background includes work with Fortune 100 firms, start-ups, and international companies.  His expertise has been sought out and included in articles for MSNBC, USA Today, and Dow Jones' MarketWatch.  He has recently started Mobley HR Consulting, which combines his corporate and teaching experience to create HR/employee development workshops and presentations that are both practical and effective.
