Surveying Your Organization: How Healthy Is it?
HR can provide tangible “value added” by leading the process to determine the health and effectiveness of an organization. An effective tool to accomplish this is an organizational effectiveness survey of key stakeholders. The Otto HR Group, Ltd. (David and Ann Otto) will draw on actual experiences we have encountered in executing this process.
Three key questions will be addressed:
1. What is an organizational effectiveness survey?
2. How do you do it?
3. What are the benefits?
Important concepts for discussion:
1. To be an effective organization, you must be aware priority issues in your organization as well as its health and well being.
2. Tips will be provided on an effective process to achieve best outcomes.
3. The survey process provides insight on what the organization is doing well and what areas may need improvement.
With this information the organization can continue to support its strengths, analyze problem areas that emerge, and develop processes for improvement.
