Friday Night Event

We are very excited to have the Kennedy Room at the historic Playhouse Square Center for a dinner and networking event the evening before the competition. A theatre tour will also be available. Plans are underway for a fun-filled networking event for students to meet the HR professionals!

Hotel Accommodations

Come to Cleveland on Friday, February 24 and stay at the Wyndham Hotel – within walking distance of the dinner and networking event at the Playhouse Square Center! The Ohio HR Games competition at CSU on Saturday is only a few blocks away.

A group of rooms has been reserved for the Ohio HR Games at the special rate of $83.00 plus tax for a stay on Friday night, February 24th. Digital Pics, Resumes and Raffle

We are asking each school to send a digital picture of their team(s) prior to the competition. Please make sure your school name appears either in the photo or in the name of the file. Pictures should be sent to Brian Friedrich at b_friedrich21@yahoo.com by Wednesday, February 15 .

All participating students are also invited to send their electronic resume. Resumes will be burned onto CDs for the professional volunteers and should be sent to Andrew Crawford at andrewj_crawford@yahoo.com by Wednesday, February 15 . What a great way for students to get their resumes to HR managers!

This year we are also asking each collegiate team to bring one item with their school logo (approximate cost $10-20) for a raffle to be held throughout the competition day. Items can be brought to check-in on Friday evening or Saturday morning.

Directions to Cleveland State University

Cleveland State is located in the historic downtown theatre district of Cleveland, Ohio.

The Ohio HR Games competition will take place on the first and second floors of the Nance College of Business, Monte Ahuja Hall located at 1860 E 18 th St, Cleveland, Ohio 44114-3610. The College of Business is just a few blocks east of the Wyndham hotel.

Park in the West Garage (WG) Lot at CSU. Please note that the parking garage entrance is on 17 th Street, between Euclid and Chester Avenues.
