About SCHRMA

The Sandusky County Human Resource Management Association (SCHRMA) is an Affiliate of The Society for Human Resource Management or SHRM.

Our organization is comprised of professionals working in a variety of human resource capacities. Business, medical, industrial, counseling, education, employment, social service and financial entities are all represented. SCHRMA gives these professionals an opportunity to network, to hear knowledgeable speakers on the latest "hot topics" in H.R., learn more about programs and progress in Sandusky County and participate in meaningful trainings that will assist them in increasing their effectiveness as leaders in their organizations.

We encourage our members to join this the largest national association of Human Resource Professionals. SCHRMA, like SHRM is a tremendous informational resource for our membership.

SCHRMA assists its members in forming study groups for obtaining their PHR and SPHR certifications by providing study materials and facilitating in finding study group leaders and appropriate meeting places. SCHRMA is an active member of our community.

We fund scholarships each year for 2 students at Terra Community College. We, through our membership volunteering their time and skills, also participate in and co-sponsor worthwhile community activities each year.

Our group meets the second Tuesday of each month. The meetings consist of: updates on developments with our group, sharing information regarding upcoming training opportunities, legislative updates, pertinent upcoming area activities, and a guest speaker. Please contact me with any questions either through email or by calling me.
