PURPOSE OF CERTIFICATION: Certification is an essential tool for maintaining high professional standards. It demonstrates an HR Professional 's mastery of the HR Body of Knowledge and acceptance of the personal challenge to stay current concerning new developments in the human resources field. THE EXAMINATIONS: Examinations are administered through the Human Resources Certification Institute (HRCI). Each certification candidate must determine which examination is appropriate for his/her based upon years of HR experience and the HR Professional's type of work.
