Session Description:

Leadership is a concept that has been discussed for years. It has moved from being a simple term and ideology to active growth and building operational capability in the practices of individuals becoming leaders. Pressure to build leadership from front-line employees to the executive suite is on. However, the question remains "We need leaders but how do we develop them?"

Speaker Biography:

Benjamin McCall is a Leadership Performance Consultant for Standard Register, a recognized leader in document management for print and digital media. He is passionate about leveraging talent management strategy and business learning and performance. Benjamin has been a practitioner within the field of HR, OD and Learning Development for the past 13 years. He has worked for Fortune 500 organizations within the fields of Financial Services, Education, and Manufacturing both private and public. His passion for collaboration and the exchange of ideas is evident though his active involvement in social media, his blog, ReTHinkHR.org and his public speaking through forums like Ignite Cincinnati and businesses, individuals beginning their careers and job seekers.

Benjamin is an avid golfer, writer and a big believer in life-long learning though class or self-driven tools. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Management from Indiana University, a Bachelor's degree from the University of Cincinnati in Information Technology and an MBA from Indiana Wesleyan.
